PRIDE Rules
At Willow Springs we have PRIDE Rules that are posted throughout our school to remind our students of how they should behave in each part of the building. These PRIDE Rules are all based around the following:
P-Put people up, not down
R-Respect people and property
I-In proper place always
D-Directions followed the first time
E-Exercise self-control and safety
As a class we have created our own rules and discussed how the PRIDE Rules apply to us while we are in our classroom.

Think Time
Think time is a program that is used in all grades at Willow Springs. It is data proven and helps to prevent behavior problems in the classroom. It is a great way to keep our classroom a calm, positive place. A student will be sent to “Think Time” in a nearby teacher’s classroom if they fail to follow the PRIDE rules after they have been reminded of the rule they are breaking and asked to change the negative behavior multiple times and have still failed to follow the PRIDE Rule. They will then write about what they did wrong and how they can fix it. When they have successfully completed “Think Time” they will return to class. The "Think Time" form that the student fills out will then go home to be signed and returned.
